Google Calendar - keep track of your tasks

You may not be aware, but I'm a bit of a google nut.

It's mainly because google offers so many great programs which you can use for free! Yes, FREEEE! If you didn't already know, blogspot is google's as well! Ok.. too many explanation marks in one paragraph, let's move on.

If you already have a gmail account then you can access google calendar with the same sign in name as your gmail account. Otherwise, go create a google account :)

Once you have a google account, you can access google calendar at http://www.google.com/calendar/.

Google calendar allows you to organise your life. You can create events, and get notified of the events before they happen via txt message (SMS), email, or popup online (if you have google open at the time).

You can also create tasks that you wish to complete (like a todo list), and tick the tasks off when you're done with them. This is great, because it allows you to see how much work you have to do, and it's always fun ticking off a task when you've completed it :)

Using Google Calendar gives you more control over your life, as you can visually see what you have on in any given day/week/month. It allows you not only to keep track of your progress (have I completed what I was supposed to), but also to plan ahead, and not over commit yourself. It's also pretty cool when you set up txt alerts, and then you get a txt message when you've got something on that you wanted to be reminded about!
