I thought that the first tool I should mention is the one my site is built on! Blogspot.com gives people a free way to express themselves and get their stories out into the community.
Not only do you have a way to put out your thoughts an ideas, but people can comment on your posts to give you feedback - yeyah!
A third thing I like about blogspot.com is that it gives you a history that you can easily look back on. I can see what I was thinking 2 months ago, a year ago, and I can compare my outlook then to my outlook now, and see how far I've come.
As you might be able to see from my site, blogspot.com is highly customisable if you know a bit of CSS (Cascading stylesheets) and html. Even without this geeky knowledge, you can still add and remove gadgets to your blog :)
